I believe Urushi is magic.
I always try to keep in mind during my kintsugi practice that the repair should not be more visible than the object to be repaired. This imbalance would betray the very essence of kintsugi restoration. The initial goal is to preserve the nature of the object while enhancing its individuality.


MUGI / NORI URUSHI ?
Among the key elements of kintsugi, two traditional glues play an essential role: mugi urushi (むぎうるし) and nori urushi (のりうるし). Each has its own composition, uses, and advantages.
