Tonoko White Japanese – Fine Powder for Kintsugi and Urushi
€6.50
Tonoko white is a Japanese mineral powder used in traditional kintsugi and urushi lacquer techniques. Derived from natural materials, it is used in the preparation and repair stages of surfaces.
In kintsugi, white tonoko is used to make sabi-urushi , a mixture used to:
to fill cracks and gaps
stabilize the repairs
prepare a thin surface before finishing
Its light color is particularly suitable when a neutral background is desired, facilitating precise and clean finishes.
