Flat gold powder Hiragokufun is one of the three most commonly used powders in kintsugi, alongside Keshi-Fun powder and round Marufun powder.
Particularly valued for its texture, it is thicker than Keshi-Fun powder (approximately 0.6 microns – 0.0006 mm). This characteristic allows it to receive a coat of lacquer, then be polished and sanded, thus offering refined and durable finishes.
