Black Bengara Pigment for Urushi and Kintsugi
Black Bengara pigment is used to colour Urushi lacquer and create deeper, richer black tones. Mixed with Ki Urushi or other Urushi lacquers, it produces a denser, more uniform and opaque black finish.
Traditionally used in Japanese lacquerwork and kintsugi, this pigment intensifies the depth of the black while preserving the natural properties of the Urushi lacquer.

How to use:

Since Bengara black pigment is a powdered mineral pigment, it must be handled with care.
Avoid inhaling dust. Wear a mask and work in a well-ventilated area when mixing.
Natural urushi is an allergenic product that can cause strong skin reactions (irritations, burns, allergies).
➤ It is essential to wear gloves , long sleeves and appropriate protective gear.
➤ Avoid all contact with skin and eyes.
In case of skin contact, wash immediately with cold water and soap.
In case of a persistent allergic reaction, consult a healthcare professional.
