Komeko is a traditional Japanese rice flour used for the preparation of nori-urushi, an adhesive mixture used in kintsugi and urushi lacquer techniques.


Mixed with water and then with urushi, it produces a flexible and resistant adhesive paste, ideal for repairing ceramics and traditional Japanese craft techniques.
