The Taiki is a traditional Japanese tool used for the final polishing and burnishing stages of kintsugi and maki-e. After the gold or silver powder has been applied and properly cured, the Taiki is used to gently polish the surface, enhancing the lustre and brilliance of the metallic finish.

Handle finished with a thin layer of Urushi lacquer for a comfortable and refined grip
