Kintsugi Brush Care and Cleaning

Kintsugi Brush Care and Cleaning

  • Never wash brushes used with urushi lacquer with water.

  • New brushes are stiffened with glue: rinse them with warm water before use.

  • Always clean your brushes immediately after use with turpentine or, ideally, orange peel oil .

  • Remove the hairspray by gently sliding a spatula or stick from the base to the tip.

  • Carefully wipe the base of the bristles to remove any residue.

Proper maintenance prolongs the life of your brushes and ensures precise and neat results.
